The Peavey 5150® heads are the result of extensive research and development between Peavey Electronics with Edward Van Halen to produce the ultimate products for guitarists.

With the 5150 head, you'll experience super rock crunch, harmonic-rich sustain, and screaming metal drive like you've never heard before. Production models are identical to those Van Halen uses when recording, as well as those he uses on tour.


The amp specs are:

  • Five 12AX7 preamp tubes;
  • Four 6L6GC power amp tubes;
  • High and low gain inputs;
  • Two channel preamp switchable on front panel or remote footswitch;
  • Rhythm channel: pre & post gain, bright & crunch switches;
  • Lead channel: pre & post gain;
  • Channels share 3-band EQ, presence, and resonance controls;
  • Switchable post EQ effects loop;
  • Preamp output;
  • Footswitch included.
